Maximizing your site
Four buildings are arranged to fit into the landscape and create a variety outdoor spaces, including small gardens. The buildings vary in color and height, giving the impression that they are a collection of smaller buildings in harmony.
Exterior facades should be transparent, low-maintenance, playful and fun. Metal cladding and timber details are used in outdoor ceilings, entry areas, and window placements.
In each building, there are 10 private units of residential space and a common area centered around the central core. Each building has a slightly different layout to accommodate the surrounding views and light conditions.
Create a communal space for seniors
The “Heart Zone” is a central hub that connects the four buildings. Warm materials, artwork, comfortable furnishings, lighting, plants, and an assortment of lighting help create a cozy, sensory-rich environment. Large windows fill the space with light, and offer a calming view of the nearby forest and garden.
You can also access the Heart Zone’s outdoor areas, such as gardens, balconies and a large partially covered rooftop terrace.
Create a homelike atmosphere in resident rooms
Residents’ rooms are bright and welcoming, with large windows and natural materials. The color scheme is calming and soothing. Each residential unit has a coat rack at the entrance for visitors and residents to hang their coats.
Other spaces include modern and bright staff offices and meeting rooms; rooms dedicated to residents’ appointments with doctors, dentists, and hairdressers; and several activity areas.
